- Divide the space: A floor plan is divided into 16 equal sectors, starting by marking the center and North, and then extending the 8 cardinal directions and their midpoints.
- Identify imbalances: Each zone is associated with a specific life aspect (e.g., North for career, Northeast for clarity). Imbalances can cause problems in that area.
- Apply remedies: Use specific remedies to correct the imbalance. For example:
- North Zone (Opportunities): Place a painting of flowing water or a waterfall and use blue décor. Avoid clutter and heavy objects.
- North-East Zone (Clarity and Wisdom): Keep the area clean and clutter-free, use white or pastel blue tones, and place a meditating Buddha or sunrise painting.
- East Zone (Social Connections): Use green color and plants.
- Use Space Surgery: For complex architectural issues or significant imbalances, a technique called “Space Surgery” may be used. This involves placing 5-element-based metal strips to correct architectural discrepancies.
General tips: Ensure proper lighting, air circulation, and a clutter-free environment throughout the space to maintain balance.
